mangy_scots_git Holy shit, this was so much heavier than I expected it to be! I'm still reeling from the sonic punch.
Favorite track: Heavy Motions.

Colin M. This is amazing from first note to last. Energetic, psychedelic doom that doesn't reinvent anything but does it so damn well you won't care at all. Favorite track: The Land That Never Thaws.

Mike Liassides Canada's Sundecay hit the spot with their sophomore EP - 'Gale' has that bit more power and clarity in all dimensions, dropping the slightly hollow and distant edges of its predecessor in favour of a more squalling punch to the guitars and a more stentorian quality to the clean and charismatic vocals.

about

Sundecay Toronto, Ontario

Sundecay is a progressive Doom band based in Toronto. While rooted in the classic sounds of proto-doomsters like Pentagram, St. Vitus and of course Sabbath there are hints proto-metal like Dust and High Tide.

Sundecay’s heaviest moments often shift away from genre conventions, much like Pallbearer, Monolord, Windhand and many “post-metal” offerings in recent years.
