Sundecay is a progressive Doom band based in Toronto. While rooted in the classic sounds of proto-doomsters like Pentagram,
St. Vitus and of course Sabbath there are hints proto-metal like Dust and High Tide.
Sundecay’s heaviest moments often shift away from genre conventions, much like Pallbearer, Monolord, Windhand and many “post-metal” offerings in recent years.

They do the occult/doom/rock thing just fine. Perhaps the music itself is a bit too 'shoegazy' in how the instruments often blend together into a wall of sound, and perhaps some would even prefer that, but in a nutshell I feel the music is simply a vehicle for the outstanding female vocals. You just gotta hear her for yourself- her sound and style are fantastic.
